"April 10, 2009
Between late 2006 and mid-2008, I was responsible for developing and implementing a Customs compliance program and supply chain security program (C-TPAT) for Kidde Residential & Commercial, one of the top 5000 importers in the United States.
As part of that effort, we retained Clement Key as an advisor. Clement’s import/export knowledge places him in the very top tier of all experts in the country. His assistance was invaluable and helped us successfully complete this complex, sometimes arduous project.
One of the tools that Clement provided was the Compliance CD. This software was a catalyst for increased efficiency and was worth its weight in gold. The structure, with its indexing, hot links and explanatory notations, is easy to navigate, enabled quick understanding and saved countless hours. This tool is an essential element of the ongoing compliance program at Kidde.
Additionally, I used this software in conjunction with the Broker Exam Preparation CD to prepare for the April 2008 Customs Broker Exam. The first-time passing rate for this exam is in single digits, usually 3% to 8%. I was fortunate enough to attain a passing grade on this exam. There is absolutely no way this would have been possible without these tools and the always available guidance of Clement Key.
I gladly provide the highest recommendation of Clement Key and the compliance tools he had developed. His services will benefit companies of any size. Please contact me if you require further information.
